Well, it is a beautiful day here in Oz and I am happy to report we're all still here -  I think. It's Sunday morning, so the normal suburban quiet could be hiding a few missing persons. One of our best loved Australian actors, Bill Hunter died yesterday, so he is definitely IN. The rest of us in Perth woke to a brilliant blue sky, soft autumn sun

Isn't it just the best time of year?
And I do agree - what a shame to be spending your whole life on this gorgeous hunk of rock, planning for a possible next life and ignoring this one.

You bet! It was a gorgeous day up here and that little drop of rain we had just freshened everything up. Picnic rug on the back lawn, a Stephen Fry book and I was in real heaven! :0) I felt so sorry for those poor people who had believed that the end was due. It is the saddest thing for them and their families. In a way, I think their predictions may have turned other people's thoughts to what they have, it certainly did mine! There is some good in everything as Gran used to say. :0)
