One More Time

One more thing! I am going to post the foods I eat each day. The postings will remind me to eat non-animal products. Plus, you guys can yell at me if I am not getting enough calcium, protein, or iron! The postings will probably go away in a couple of weeks when I am adjusted. I think before going vegan you should talk to your doctor, it's one of the biggest dietary changes you could ever possibly make. There are a lot of health concerns involved, make sure you don't let the iron levels in your diet drop. Be careful with soya as well, soya blocks to absorption of some essential vitamins and minerals - like iron and zinc.

Make sure you get enough B12 which is a REALLY essential one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B12).

Personally I'd go with supporting farmers and local produce but I'm biased as I come from a farming community and seeing the decline of British farming.

I have, actually. My clinic provides a dietician. She met with me the first time I went vegan. Like I said, I know how to eat properly, I just need to work hard to do so.

But, thanks so much for being so supportive. I know all about B12... it was stressed by my dietician.

I know you knew, just wanted to remind you :P I'll support anyone, so long as they aren't about go bungee jumping without a rope.

So long as your dietician is okay with it, and you make sure you keep up with your B12 then it'll be all good :) :)
