I got the proofs for The Heart Divided yesterday and am working my way through them today. All I can say is i don't think I would ever want to be an editor or a proof reader! *shakes head* What an eye for detail one would need!

Be back when I have finished looking through them.

Just checked on my order status with Vista Print and the postcards, business cards and pens I've ordered have shipped! Yay!

Still buried in edits and hoping to have the first round done today. My partner has been ill and I've been pampering her in between editing.

Well, here it is, the 2nd of June already. I just got edits back for my novella The Keeper which is slated to release next month, so if I am quiet, send me a good thought or two while I am buried under editing.

I feel anxious and edgy today, which might be from lack of sleep--I don't know.

My shoulder hurts and I hate the rain.

For years now, I have suffered from a mysterious condition which has caused not only me, but many others a lot of misery, heartbreak, embarrassment and random bald patches from hair tearing. It has until now had no name, no diagnosis and no prognosis.

I am going nuts here! I know someone on one of the gazillion websites/mailing lists/networking thingos I belong to, posted recently about an upcoming workshop in may on the subject of editing and proofreading, and I can't for the life of me, find the post anywhere and I wanted to sign up.

This is the moment when the realisation dawns (for me, anyway) that while I can tell a story, I can't write in English for crackers. *sigh*

I'll be quietly over here, digging my way through all the grammar corrections. (not that bad, really, you know how we writerly types like to overdramatise!)

I just sent off a sip submission (F/F) "Coffee Kisses." That's that one off my desk, now to get to some subs for antho calls.
