Doctor Who

What else am I going to talk about?! Well, I could talk about The Office, but I still haven't continued watching S3 yet. I will! I promise. After this Saturday and I see the finale for DW :P

Okay, so I'm relatively caught up on Doctor Who episodes, meaning I've seen the latest episodes.

Turn Left... )

- One more thing, didn't care for Rose's reaction to the Doctor's regeneration, that's it, done talking about it.

Urgh word. That was the one thing that bothered me, well really ever since New Earth pushed the idea that Ten was an upgrade in the eyes of Rose. Just no

If he did regenerate he would still be the Doctor

You know, what really bothers me about that attitude is that people don't seem to think it paints Rose as shallow and selfish! It's why the whole idea of him "imprinting" on her doesn't reflect well on anyone. It makes Rose look awful, and it means that Nine was that hurt, which is something I really don't want to think about.

And yeah, she should have been the calmest one at the party, given that she's been through this before.

It frustrated me a bit because it was again portraying that Rose loved the Doctor more in DT shaped form, and it was Ten as the Doctor that she really fell in romantic love with. But then part of me will never be over the fact that Nine died for Rose, and there she was in New Earth beaming away at Ten that "You're so different" like it was a good thing :/

I understand that it would be hard for the Doctor to regenerate just when they were on the brink of reuniting, but Rose fell in love with the Doctor, not Ten exclusively. He was wearing an entirely different face when she first bonded with him for goodness sake, so you'd think she could appreciate the fact that she wouldn't really be losing her chance to reunite with the Doctor, even if he did regenerate *sighs*

Yeah. They keep having to "squee" onscreen and insist "I love being with you", and yet, I never bought the chemistry between Rose and Ten, whereas the chemistry between Nine and Rose just wouldn't let go. It's really not that subjective. The body language is so different.

I'd feel bad for Nine, even if I loved Ten. I have never been able to bear him, so it makes it that much worse.

- WILL NOT COMMENT ON ENDING except to say I will be PISSED if it's a cop-out ;P Which, come on, does anyone really believe this won't be some sort of fake-out?

Of course it will be! And then the universe will be saved because the Doctor is SUPER GOD.

ACK, NO IT BURNS. I don't understand. Why is Ten a god, but Nine wasn't? What makes Ten so good? WHAT AM I MISSING?

I think all Doctors would make terible gods. Nine admitted it. Ten proves it.

See, I thought Rose was being weird, even bitchy with Donna and that thing on her back, too, and everyone kept telling me I was seeing things. And yes, I was! I was seeing Rose being kind of bitchy. And annoyingly Ten-like, yes. She seemed different in The Stolen Earth than she did in Turn Left, so I'm wondering if Bad Wolf might still be afoot.

And as for the regeneration?! Yeah. Yeesh. Who wants to trade in a sexy, sensitive man for a selfish, giddy boy? Honestly? Evidently a worrying number of women and girls, which depresses me on a whole 'nother level.

I'm with you! I saw it! heh And she was different between the two episodes. So much so, I could almost wonder if what happened in "Turn Left" was after "The Stolen Earth", but of course, that doesn't make sense. But no, I'm with you on Rose, that's the feeling I got in "Turn Left".

OMG how much do I want a regeneration!? But we know it's not happening. I mean, it'll be a good fake-out for those that don't know spoilers (which is...probably the majority of viewers).

Sometimes I feel sort of bad that I wish we were getting a real regeneration because it'd be like firing Tennant from his dream job. But on the other hand, majority of people who left the show were either offered something else or asked to leave. So, then I don't feel bad. Eh, I don't know what I'm saying.

OMG, if he regenerated in Nine...*dies from the thought*

*sigh*

I get why you feel that why. I suppose why her reaction was unsettling to me was because she knew the alternative to regenerating is...dying. Everything she's been through, I'd figure she'd know how to keep a cool head and realize that. I mean, I'm sure she does, but it just sort of bugged me.

I think Rose being more like the Doctor works better with her than with the doctor being the doctor. I don't know why but I think Billie pulls it off better.

Heh! I think you may be right!

I laughed too! I mean, it was petty and the remarks were, IMHO, immature, but they were funny and she was frustrated. It was cute before Martha popped up and she was all THAT'S ME, THAT SQUARE'S FOR ME! heh

I giggle when I look at your icon because...Ifastforwardedthroughthatscene.

I didn't mean that Rose shouldn't show emotion towards it, it was just her little "But you can't" towards him regenerating that just bugged me a little. I understand being upset, with the possibility that he'll die.

Hmm, Harriet appeared to know of Martha, but not personally, as Harriet did try introduce herself. I am totally praying for no jealously. Praying hardcore for that! :D

*shrugs* That's why I wish I liked them! heh

- Would be nice (or not, don't know) to be a Ten/Rose shipper like RTD.

naaaah, not really...

If Wilf dies someone else's gonna die too!!!
I just love the fact that they brought back Harriet and how! She still stands to her opinion and I agree on what you said but she still even died for the Doctor.
I thought the drums were there because it was quite similar to the network the Master used...that's all...

Wilf is just so wonderful, he can't go!

Harriet has always been fantastic and I'm glad if she had to go, RTD let her go out like that.

Yeah, the drums could mean nothing, but I thought it was suspicious that it was used.

Wilf and Harriet are so my favorite not!companions. I loved Harriet the moment she said "Harriet Jones. whatever it was back then" holding up her ID.

In the end everything is suspicious till Saturday. lol. My head is bursting from theories and speculations, it's not funny anymore.
