Is it autumn yet?

I think the Northwest weather already feels like fall, but my uni doesn't start until late September. Maybe because it's on quarterly schedule while most people have semesters/trimesters? Maybe the summer quarter is still going on, but I still have few more weeks until I start college for real. And idk what to do until then except enjoy my fandoms ( Read more... )

Ohhh, I was wondering why UW started so late :O

Yeah, you should go before it gets too late! College bookstores get crazy busy.

Yay cellphone!! Haha, don't go over the limit! xD My mom actually got angry at me because I was so below the limit that having phone service was pretty much a waste of money orz
Um, I'm not good with this stuff either, but my brother has a smart phone & it came with a cord (not the charger cord) so you can dl ringtones and use that cord to upload them to your phone. Idk the specifics though;;

Yeah, it's a bit weird sometimes.

I was planning to get all the books today but I guess being too early or too late is both annoying;;

Yay indeed! Ahaha, I hope I'm like you and don't over use it. 8D Ooh I think I know how now! Yes I have this cord with a USB end so I can hook it up to my pc and transfer songs to the phone ! Time to set some J-pop as ringtones! XD

Hmm, I'm more used to using old phone models. 8|a And models from China. But it's been a while since I've handled stuff other than my own. The usual places for ring tones and the like is in the settings menu, or whatever it's labeled as in your phone. If not there, maybe you have a gallery menu, where the photos and recorded videos and music are kept, and you can open a song and see if there's an option to set it as a ring tone.

I'm only familiar with prepaid phones, so I don't know how to help you with the texting issue, except, if you do share your number, you should inform that they should only message you in emergencies or something, or, you know, not reply at all. Most of the time they're probably just forwarded messages anyway? The Philippines has quite the…texting culture, I admit, so I don't know if my giving you some phone etiquette advice or something will help. 8|a But whatever you do, do not play with your passwords. ;A;

Oh I see. And thank you! I got to change my ringtone to something I liked. 8D It took me a while to figure this out though, since I'm such a noob to cellphones.

And yessss I should definitely tell them to text only in emergency or else my bills will be...hell. :'D Uh oh, what happens when you play with the passwords? Is it a passwords to the cellphone?

Hahaha, they're pretty confusing things. Even worse than computers when it comes to changing interfaces, seemingly on a whim… @_@ This is why I read manuals cover to cover.

Yeah. There's always phones and emails and things if people ever want to get in touch. Cellphone passwords, yes, if yours have them. ;; Fiddle with things that have the "[acronym] code," etc. labels on them tend to leave nasty surprises if you're not careful. Let's just say my first phone shut me out when I toyed with the passwords too much years ago. ;;

They really are. I hope I'll get used to it soon. X'D LOL I have to read the manual too. I usually only read the part I'm confused about since it's so long.

I think I have a password to the online account for my cellphone so that my mom can know exactly how much minutes and data I used and all the numbers I call, LOL. If I change that she will be furious so I'll just keep away from that. Thanks for the advice!
