Is it autumn yet?
I think the Northwest weather already feels like fall, but my uni doesn't start until late September. Maybe because it's on quarterly schedule while most people have semesters/trimesters? Maybe the summer quarter is still going on, but I still have few more weeks until I start college for real. And idk what to do until then except enjoy my fandoms which I've been doing all summer long LOL.
Today, I went up to the school and got some info about work study, which probably will get me my first job ever. Before summer, I thought I'd get a job for my 3-month break but you know things don't happen that well. Especially in the summer when I'm so lazy. I also went up to buy books for my classes, but I could only get the history books since psych and calc's don't come out until mid-September. Pfffft watch me go there too late before the first day of school and line up there for hours when everybody goes there.
Another exciting news is that I GOT A CELLPHONE! Yes, I was so poor I lived without one for 19 years, but my mom finally got one foe me today and it's so nice ahdklahdga. It's a smart phone from htc and it's with KDDI so I can type in Japanese and call people in Japan really easily! But I have no one to call in Japan (or anywhere else really) so it's not that great.
And I have wifi internet, but I only have 150 MB for month so my mom is not letting me use twitter or anything that will cost me over that limit. Also, since almost everybody texts these days, if I tell my number to people I assume I'd get unwanted texts that will drive my mom crazy with extra bills, so idk what to do with it really. Yeah having a rather cheap plan on a smart phone isn't really that, well, exciting. So basically I got my hopes up really high for nothing.
I guess having one in my hands feel great and cool and I could always tell people not to text me and give my number so that they can call me to contact me, but let's see how that'd work out. My mom is threatening me that she'll take it away and replace it with a prepaid phone if I go over the limit, so I'm happy but scared at the same time. ಥ_ಥ
Maybe I can put some music to make it cooler since I traded my old iPod at Best Buy for a gift card? The battery was getting really old so I gave it up. Not too many people will call me so I can use up the phone's battery, right? 8'D But OTL I know close to nothing about cellphones (well, beside taking photos and changing random setting) so I feel so inexperienced. How to do I get a different ringtone from the ones in the phone? They all sound weird. Do I dl some and then put them into the phone...or?
[EDIT] I found out how to change my ringtone! I transferred some songs from my PC so now I have Aoi Shiori's intro part as my ringtone. 8Db
Oh, and my wallpaper is NO.6. XDDD
I'm also getting a new and better laptop and a watch for college, so I probably shouldn't be complaining, sorry.
