I find it a bit weird that this school doesn’t seem to be more specialized. But then (A) I know nothing about American cooking schools, much less Japanese cooking schools, and (B) I do not care, as long as there is more food pr0n and cuteness.

true, but she doesn't know about his feelings yet iirc - so that'd probably cover a few volumes ;) since they're only friends now, right?

Yup, that's pretty accurate. I've just been burned too many times to not fear this becoming all about Hayato's struggle to get his parent's approval while Hana stands on the side and looks supportive.
