I have decided that Asa is a non-dominatrix-and-not-raised-by-an-evil-raven-and-at-the-mercy-of-the-ghost-of-a-egomaniacal-ghost-author-who-lives-to-makes-his-characters-suffer Rue. Which means that, if you give me time, yes, I can tie everything to Princess Tutu. (Also Samurai Deeper Kyo or Blade of the Immortal.)

Although I don't believe in the saying that only opposites attract. I think they would have made a clueless but cute couple, happy with anything ;). I still don't really like Asami, but she's a good character for the mix.
Of course from the cover and everything it was clear Haruna would eventually end up with Koh, but I bet in the magazines people were kept guessing...

The only one who is too perfect to be real is Mami, so far I think.

Kept guessing regarding who Haruna would end up with? I don't know. It seemed pretty clear, even without the covers, that she'd end up with Yoh. Then again, I always get confused when people say they don't know who a character will end up with in a triangle, because it usually seems obvious to me. (Like, when I first started reading Fruits Basket, I thought it was obviously Kyo/Tohru by vol 2, but other people who were just reading it at the same time said they couldn't stand the suspense of which it would be, and several who I've helped get started on the series have asked when she'd get together with Yuki. Then again, even when squeeing, I tend to be an analytic reader.)

Yeah, I've only found the first vol or so in scans, and am waiting/hoping for it to be licensed.
