Castle Waiting #10: Hmm…Medley seems to have changed her style a bit. Both Jain and Simon both look different. Mostly, we have Jain, Simon and Tolly wondering about the secret passageways and setting off the traps in them. And Jain getting grabbed by a ghost. I hope we actually get the story behind the castle from BEFORE Briar Rose’s time, instead ( Read more... )

I left IM on at work so I can't just msg you. It won't let me sign yahoo off from home, as it does AIM.

I went through your icons the other day in a fit of procrastination boredom at work and made better note of the series. I went to the library tonight and picked up the first 6 volumes of Bleach. There's a lot of... pow! kick! slam! and yelling. Is this one of your favorite series, or do you just have a lot of icons from there? Page-after-page of action gets on my nerves. Is there a good story to go behind it?

I like Bleach a lot, but it is pretty much straightup shounen action. There is a story, and a lot of great characters(many of whom will show up in the next few volumes if you read more.) If it's too much action for you at this point, though, I don't think that'll get better for you. It's good, but mostly action.

Hmm. Maybe I should've gone with Rurouni Kenshin then. It's a little too... over the top with the exclamation points and yelling.

Maybe I'll read the anthology of horror stories I got instead. I should've gotten my first three volumes of Monster today but no delivery :( My other package arrived tho!

I also got the first book of Garth Nix's Abhorsen series, some young adult fantasy that came highly recommended. I'm 70 pages in and not impressed, either.

I'm having absolutely no luck with books lately.

RuroKen is also shounen action, but does tend to be more on the plotty side.

BTW, I do also have AIM. SpiritCastle7

It appears Moondragon is still dead, at least so far.

Cosmo is love. So glad he'll be in Guardians.

Cosmo keeps me from noticing important things like, you know, plot.

Well, Moondragon is a dragon, so who knows...

Yeah, she could pop back up and fry Ultron's innards like a potato wrapped in foil.
