And now we know Audrey can't kill William, either, so...hmmmm. (I mean, she could, but then it's lights out for her, too.)
I've only seen PoI twice, but last night happened to be the second time, and I'm wondering why the hell the head guy (the one from Lost whose character name I don't know) just stood there like a lox and didn't call 911. Or answer the ominously ringing phone. Also, what does HR stand for besides Human Resources?
I suspect that is a choice Audrey would make, and Lucy too, for that matter. (And I guess Sarah? But I don't feel I know that version as well, even though we had multiple scenes with her but only the one vision of Lucy.)
Re: POI: Because it was more important that the black woman die in the white dudes arms to crush his soul and emotionally dropkick him back to the beginning of the series.
I...cannot recall if they ever told us what HR stands for in this case.
Apparently it's for real, but there's also been a lot of negative backlash, so they might try to find a way out of it if they can get Taraji Henson to come back.
I doubt they'll do that. Henson doesn't strike me as a look-back sort of person, and Nolan and Plageman are congratulating themselves for their 'edgy' writing, so...
UGH. It was the worst episode. "Many Happy Returns" finally beaten for that title.
yeah, the selfcongratulating is probably the worst part. I wonder if there's anyone actually praising them? From what i've seen, even the Carter haters/people who don't care she died are saying it was pretty bad.
Last night, I was at least planning to watch the rest of Taraji's episode. Seeing their responses has pretty much killed that.
ETA: Remind me which ep was "Many Happy Returns"? i'm bad with episode titles.
I just watched the last three episodes and this could have been so amazing and awesome and...then they kill her off. Like...what? What the fucking fuck?
I won't watch the next episode, I'll just wait if there is a remote possibility that she is alive, the Internet'll tell me. If she is dead, then I'm out.
It's not just that she is dead although this is bad enough, but...I loved those scenes between John and her, not just in this epsidoe, but those two before, but now I only feel manipulated and I hate TPTB for it.
Maybe if things would've been different I wouldn't feel so angry about it, but...nope, bye show..at least until to give me Carter back
