-About time Jenna knew the truth. The believability of her not knowing reached the limits when the combination of that and Damon’s idiocy resulted in her being compelled to stab herself in the gut.

Yes, this. Continuing to keep the truth from her after that just made them all look like idiots. I was very disappoint.

Really, by the time Katherine showed up and could enter the house, we were at the heights of absurdity in not telling her. That just pushed it over the edge. After 2.6, I was all "OK, that was annoying, but at least SHE'LL FINALLY KNOW" and then...she'd been compelled to think the knife slipped and somehow went straight into her gut. Which made it even sillier...couldn't they make it a mugger or something?

YES! I was so convinced after the forced self-stabbing that they would HAVE to tell her because how else could they explain it? And then that bullshit with her being compelled into thinking it was an accident...That really pissed me off because now you're violating her mind all over again by compelling her to forget Katherine's compulsion. WHY?! Why not just TELL her the damn truth? Oh, that's right...because the writers wanted someone to still be the 'innocent' who needed protecting instead of letting Jenna actually play a role in the main plot. Stupid.
