Vampire Diaries 2.19

-Any episode without my 2 favorite characters cannot rate above a 6 on a10 point scale.

-Flashback may look like cheesy low rate B movies with artsy filters, but I love them. Also, Nina Dobrev must have really liked working with Lauren Cohen, because I’m pretty sure she was aping her natural accent there.

-Eliiiiiiiijah. You did a wonderful job of helping me ignore Damon.

-I am sure I will get screwed over with this eventually, but I’m riding the Katherine/Elijah train until it inevitably betrays me.

-Why do people find Klaus hot? I just find him icky. Also, I’m wondering if he compels the witches (Because I’ve been under the impression that they can’t be compelled so far. I mean, if they could be, then wouldn’t Damon have just used Bonnie directly in season 1 instead of taking the longer route through Caroline?) or just kinda brainwashes them from childhood into being his obedient flunkies.

-About time Jenna knew the truth. The believability of her not knowing reached the limits when the combination of that and Damon’s idiocy resulted in her being compelled to stab herself in the gut.

-I managed to mostly ignore Damon. Sadly, this means I ignored Andie too, who I suspect I’d like if we actually got to see her real personality. Also, the bit with Katherine almost made me wish I hated him a bit less.

Also, I accidentally capped him and decided to make the best of the error:

-Elijah, why did you have to so strongly imply that Klaus has never had kids? Because I desperately want the witches who cursed him to be his daughters. But then, he was actually looking at Katherine when he said “our father,” so I’ll just hope for a sister instead.

-Show, you actually just said “everything is the fault of the cheating woman” didn’t you?

P.S.: Mad Men fans, please tell me there are icons of Sally Draper reading Nancy Drew. I may need one.
