manga: Blade of the Immortal Vol 21: Demon Lair II

After volume 20’s rather plot and character driven scenes wrapped up most of the almost-neverending prison arc, this was a rather low key volume. Which, for Blade of the Immortal means everyone fought their way to a conclusion in a bloodbath.

Yeah. That's kind of my stance on Manji/Rin, too. Actually, I think that's Manji's stance.

I really, really liked this volume. The action scenes were great. I liked Manji's easy acceptance of Doa as a competent ally. I liked Anotsu's reaction there also, and that he called them "young women" and not "girls" (OK, that might be the translator - still).

I think Hyakurin's hair is because she's In Disguise.

I'm sad that no one ended up writing any of the BotI prompts I put up for springkink. (They were all het, megan!)

See, now I'm wondering how many people in the series could have sex with each other without it resulting in a bloodbath.
