They are some great ideas...maybe you could have some sort of a "wish ceremony" as well, because every princess (and every prince for that matter) deserves 3 wishes.

And if you want to go all medieval royalty you could modify something towards jousting...a pinata maybe?

My SIl's daughter had a Brats party and boys were invited. She handed out Star Wars gift bags to the boys at the end and Brats to the girls. The gift bags had the same contents in both.
