There was wood panelling and lovely little side rooms with tapestries and Old Furniture.
There were happy emperor and mirabehn (who *nailed* She Moved through the Fair - one of the highlights of the evening for me

There was insufficient sleep.
There was a drive back down the M1 through rain and spray and aaargh, getting home at 10:30.
