Tired but happy (again).
There was a ceilidh in an old building.
There was wood panelling and lovely little side rooms with tapestries and Old Furniture.
There were happy emperor and mirabehn (who *nailed* She Moved through the Fair - one of the highlights of the evening for me).
There were many geeks bouncing up and down.
There were nuggles.
There was the "let's introduce the TS people to the Cambridge crowd" bit.
There was a very nice person that I hadn't met before *waves*.
Courtesy of robert_jones, there was some Veuve Clicquot, wine, sandwiches and an improbably late night resulting in getting back to the guest house at 3am after many alarums and excursions involving strongtrousers, medieval_bunny, kateqp, wildeabandon, roz_mcclure, dextress, the ceilidh caller and the inner ring road.
There was a fire alarm at 4:55 am.
There was insufficient sleep.
There was a drive back down the M1 through rain and spray and aaargh, getting home at 10:30.
There was a floppy mole going back to bed who has only just woken up.
Evensong in 3 hours (solos in Byrd Second) but nothing else to do today.
