Thanks to the efforts of various people, including rustica, my company is almost certainly spending the 7th of July in Oxford subject to being able to book a room for the day with 100 people. Somehow I expected this was going to be a room as in a hotel/bed room and when I got to the end of the sentence was very confused until I went back and read 'the day' :)

I heard from someone trying to book a room for a wedding reception through ConferenceCam that there wasn't a lot of response - hope ConferenceOx are better..

That's what I found when I was organising the Veizla. I don't know if (a) I was just unlucky and previous reeves had it better or (b) if anything would have turned up if the university centre hadn't seemed immediately satisfactory and I'd looked further.

Cambridge has a similar service, but my wedding reception requirements were more than most Colleges could provide.
