Viper Canyon: Ottomas

Feb 19, 2012 10:18

This one was a bit of a challenge. The Ottomas family start with around §35 500, and that's not much for a family of six, soon eight! Still, I managed to stay within budget. The house costs just above §34 000. And there's no CC.

I wonder how many times I've built a house for the Ottomi by now...

I've been stalking your journal for some time now, and I thought it was time to leave a comment: I really LOVE all the makeovers you do, don't ever stop simming - you're my number 1 source of inspiration.

Thank you for your very kind comment. :) I cannot promise I won't ever stop simming, but it doesn't look like I'm coming to a full halt anytime very soon, at least. :)

Wow, it must be hard to build in-budget for such a big family, but I really think you've pulled it off well... You've got the skeleton down and its functional, and then extra touches like paintings and stuff can come once the family has a bit more cash!

It's also nice and big, which is good, so that 8 Sims aren't going to be complaining as they step over each other all the time!

Thank you. ^^ I wanted to give them everything they need to live comfortably and still have a house that looks decent and that can be expanded on (adding a second floor shouldn't be much trouble).

I'm in awe that you've managed to keep within budget of that huge family, and still give them everything they need! Also love all the colours, the house looks so inviting and cozy :)

Thank you! :) The colour thing in the big main room just sort of happened, and I went with it. It was an easy way to spice up a house that otherwise doesn't have too much decoration.

I really like the colors! And I'm surprised you managed to build them a house that big with their small budget. Good job. :)

Thanks! :) I'm a bit surprised too, and pleased. They even have almost 1300 to spare after moving in. :)
