Uberhood - Belladonna Cove - Carlos Contender

Jan 16, 2010 09:33

Carlos Contender is like an aged Daniel Pleasant who never married, or something.

In the default Belladonna Cove template, he had the Popularity aspiration, even though everything about him was screaming Romance sim. So I changed him in my clean version.

Let's see what he gets up to!

You actually played Carlos Contender! I killed him off via cowplant.

Haha, aww. Well... he's not gonna live that long anyway, so. ;)

What a lovely wedding, I really should start having real weddings too. I always love seeing your pictures, I just never have anything clever to say, so if I'm not commenting, that's the reason :P I always read your posts even if I didn't comment.

Doing the big weddings is fun, even if it's hard to get the guests to cooperate without making them selectable and turning free will off. :P I find it helps a lot to lock all doors to the house, though, so they can't go in there and start messing around with the TV and raiding the fridge and so on.

Aw, no worries, it's good to know you're enjoying my pictures. :) It's how I feel about everything you post, too. I can't always think of something to say, but your pictures always bring a smile to my face. :)

(No. No, it isn't.)

Dontcha think?

Those were some epic poker games of epicness. I bet the general won.

Alanis Morisette has a lot to answer for!

The poker tables are great; so many good expressions and I love the little tricks they do. I think the general did win that first game with Sophia and Checo.

Carlos is slowly spreading his seed around my neighborhood. He had Vivian move in when he found out she was pregnant...then when I switched to the Cordial house (playing in alphabetical order) he knocked up Kimberly and moved in and married her (simply because he didn't have a fear of marrying her, unlike Vivian). So Vivian's set up in a nice house with a ton of money, still a single mom (of two!), but she'll find her true love one of these days!

Haha, that's pretty funny. Are they making the babies on their own or are you influencing them? We only have 'try for baby' on for engaged/married couples, but got our first 'risky woohoo' pregnancy the other day. That was fun!

Hope Vivian finds a nice guy!

If both people have a want for a baby, I'll be a little more active in getting them pregnant. Otherwise I let ACR handle it. I also have Try for Baby on for everyone for a little more excitement. Got my first teen pregnancy with Tara DeBateau thanks to ACR...the daddy is Justin Cleveland. The Cleveland household, btw, is amazingly still intact, despite Jason's antics with several ladies. Maybe it's because Marisa's got a girlfriend (she rolled bi).

I'm playing in a cycle, playing each household until the end of the season. Unless Carlos gets sucked into another household somehow he'll be around for the rest of this cycle, possibly fathering even more children. I can't remember if he's fathering any others, but I wouldn't be surprised.

So far we're not even helping out if they have the wants, but seeing as older sims are far less likely to concieve, we might change that sooner or later... Jessica Peterson was an exception, it seemed like a good plot to make her pregnant. :P Oh, and summon aliens is another exception, of course. :)

Teen pregnancy, eh? I never wanted to fiddle around with that, always too worried it might mess something up. I imagine there's no pregnant morph for the teens unless you have custom content for it?

"precious moneybag" made me snort. Then the tribute to Alanis got me again. Well done, ma'am, well done.

I've never played Carlos Contender. You're always showing me all these fun maxis sims that I've been overlooking (though if he came with AL then I can use the excuse that I didn't get that EP for a long time. . .lame, I know).

Heheh. Thanks.

You should play Belladonna Cove; it's a fun neighbourhood. Carlos Contender does indeed live there.

I am enjoying your BACC stuff, though, so I hope to see more of it. Especially the Ottomi.

I'm still chugging along with my BACC. But I did start a new one, a kind of BACC-lite version that I can hopefully really play as a GAME (I'm amending a few rules here and there and such).

Ooh. Hope you'll share. I'm always interested in seeing what others do with their challenges, especially BACC-type things, which is more my kind of challenge than very sim-specific ones, I think (like legacies, poverty, prosperity, etc).
