What makes reading this worse, is just as I finished and debated commenting, I look up at the TV and it's this sad little kitty with sad music for an animal protection charity. I hurriedly changed the channel; those commercials make me overly sad and combined with finishing reading these articles...

I will not put myself through watching them at all. That is just beyond imaginable. And the immense kitty-friendliness that is my household just makes me even more outraged at people like that. (God! Even more timing! I had just finished talking to my mom about our cats and how much we baby them before I read this. DX) Sure it would be terrible with any animal, but cats are so dear to me. I'm glad to hear that the kitty was rescued though. How did the mother not realize what was happening? I didn't see anything about her.
