Alright, I'm not a person who enjoys reading scripts.  I can visualize them ok, enough to build off them but they never have a real life until an actor takes up the lines.  So it really says something when I read the script and walk away feeling down right disturbed.  Unless the Magic chooses the worst actors in the field--which I doubt--God of ( Read more... )

Well I kind of excited. I got a call back from the Magic Theater in San Francisco to be the Props Master for the new Sam Shepard play The God of Hell.  The script--I'm about half way through it--is great.  I'm not always a Sam Shepard fan but this one is really good.  I'm very excited about being Props Master for it.

Hot day. Just got in from a water gun fight with the kids. :)

So I'm on City of Heroes chatting with a guy in my Super Group who I play with a lot. I've been playing with this guy for several months now and we chat on teamspeak quite a bit. We're chatting and I find out he's here in California, in Fresno. Grew up there. Tonight we're chatting some more. Jeff is on line too and mentions our roleplaying. ( Read more... )

Whooho! I'm running off with the circus . . . ummm does that count if the circus is perminant in San Francisco? I got a job working for Teatro Zinzanni, a dinner circus on pier 29. I am definitely spending too much time at my house if I am posting in my live journal three times in one week. Sigh. Jeff won't let me do any major cleaning because my kidney still kind of hurts occasionally. I guess I'm spending another day on City of Heroes/Villains. I am going stir crazy.

Went to work yesterday. Thought I felt better until the meds started to wear off. Felt terrible last night. Had to stay home from work today. When I called my job today my boss told me to stay home for at least a couple of days to recover. I'm in Boston today. It's the first time in over five years since I've been back East. I was up in New Hampshire for a week at my grandparents. My mom and I flew back East so I could see my grandparents and Madelon. My grandfather has been pretty sick for the last year and Madelon had cervical cancer.
