One can never listen to too much folk music. I say so and therefore it is a proven fact. Trust me. How could it be wrong when it leads to gorgeous mixing such as this?
Look at that slightly angsty intense gazing on those covers. These two!
This mix is for all the time she spends helplessly agonising over him. Sometimes I wonder if he even realises. You know. I don't think he does realize just how much she agonizes over him. I mean he'd have to be blind to not know she worried about him but I don't know that he gets the extent at all. I think she might need to have a FEELINGS explosion at sometime when he's done something that really freaks her out and do her equivalent of the 'you have no idea how I feel' with something like, "You have absolutely no idea how much I worry about you!"
I think Tony would be shocked to learn the amount of time she spends agonizing over his welfare. And, it goes without saying, he'd be quite touched too.
One can never listen to too much folk music. I am in total agreement on this, and have been on a massive Laura Marling/Mumford & Sons/Noah & the Whale etc kick since the weekend. I think I need more folk in my life. Any recs?
I think she might need to have a FEELINGS explosion at sometime And you know, this is where your icon comes in, because remember that old idea about Alex going apeshit at Tony after she's talked him down off the roof? I still love that. I love this concept of her holding everything together until the point comes where it's too much, and she just erupts with anger and fear and loses it completely at him. I hope he'd get it, and not just be offended that she's being all shouty. This is why I can see her just breaking down post 6.04, and Tony being a little bit amazed at how emotional she is. And touched, of course, like you said

Folk recs soon, I swear! I keep waffling on what to include because I have a lot of countryish folk and I now fear your fear of country.
You know, one of us is really going to have to write this post-4.04 scene one of these days. (I would say 'someone' but it's Alex/Tony so, yeah, one of us.) I'm intrigued by the idea but having trouble picturing exactly how it would play out as they're so mysterious in the early days o' season 4.
I hope he'd get it, and not just be offended that she's being all shouty.I think he would. He might be offended when she first started with the shoutiness but I think he'd catch on pretty quickly to the fact that she was doing her 'I'm being shouty because I'm so overwhelmed with FEELINGS thing' because he'd just scared the hell out of her. He'd probably be really touched that she got so worked up over him, actually. That combined with her showing up on the roof in the first place would hopefully start to pound into his stubborn little brain how much she cares about him

Your folk recs are awesome! Thank you so very very much. You are far too kind and sweet to me. All I need now is for the asshole rain to stop so I can take a nice leisurely stroll around the neighbourhood at dusk whilst listening. I'm really looking forward to that
