I adore the lyrics of "Are You Magnetic?" for them especially that last bit, "sometimes when we fall/ we just land in the right place/ ‘cause we’re magnetic/ and we land in the right place" It's so true. No matter how ridiculously these two flail around, they always end up with each other.

Yeah, I was going to use that brilliant observation of yours as fodder for some intensely-researched Tony-POV fic about the properties of mesmerism and magnetism, but then I realised I really wasn't feeling intellectual enough and said 'Fuck it, there's not enough quasi-punk rock in this fandom of ours. I'll just use that cool Faker track on a mix'. Laaaazy... Although I might one day revisit that idea; I'd love to write some darkish piece about Tony thinking about his physical attraction to Alex and going all esoteric in his head. One of these days.
