Yeah, I was going to use that brilliant observation of yours as fodder for some intensely-researched Tony-POV fic about the properties of mesmerism and magnetism, but then I realised I really wasn't feeling intellectual enough and said 'Fuck it, there's not enough quasi-punk rock in this fandom of ours. I'll just use that cool Faker track on a mix'. Laaaazy... Although I might one day revisit that idea; I'd love to write some darkish piece about Tony thinking about his physical attraction to Alex and going all esoteric in his head. One of these days.

(I agree completely with your !!!!!!!!.)

No matter how ridiculously these two flail around, they always end up with each other.
Awww. So true. And they do flail, don't they.

I'm thinking Tony might have a secret secret stash of music he thinks might work well if ever Alex was around for wine night one evening, and seduction was on the cards. It'd all be kind of weird stuff (what does Tony listen to, anyway?), but sexy in its own way I guess (aww, like him). And during said wine night while he's in the kitchen getting another bottle of red, Alex sneaks and has a look through his iTunes (she knows it's the fastest way to get to know someone on a deeper level), and stumbles across it. I think Tony's slow jamz playlist would start out kind of dirty and fun, and slowly progress to soft and reverential tunes. He's thought about it. A lot.

YOU HAVE TURNED ME INTO A FONT GEEK. Actually, I guess I already was one, because I do have a frickload of fonts I've collected over time, but still. You've reignited my font fascination. The 'are you magnetic' on the cover is Dirty English (I really do like it a lot), but I'm also becoming quite partial to the ransom note font on the back, which is delightfully named 'Got Heroin?' Bloody hell. You know I'm going to spend the weekend font hunting now, don't you?

You're welcome for the new tunes! I'm quite enjoying this mix; it's kind of rocky and fun, and it has that Tony is a bit of a loser but he has so much potential feel to it. I hope you like it, and have a little spazzy dance around in your apartment and/or car whilst listening.

Had to jump ahead and answer this comment now because I am listening to your mix right now and 1.) I love it madly perhaps even a smidge more than your other mixes which I am insanely fond of as well. 2.) "Your legs are smooth,/ as they graze mine,/ we're doing fine,/ we're doing nothing at all." Oh, hey there flirty first/second/whenever date Alex and your scooting ever closer to Tony so that your legs are all up in his business, how you doin'? OH THE IMAGES YOU PUT IN MY HEAD.

I understand feeling too lazy to write/finish writing/write something complicated. I feel those things often. It does sound like an awesome idea though if you ever decide you want to go for it.

So, this is very important. What would Tony's slow jamz playlist be titled? Would it be something semi cryptic like "mood music" or something flat out obvious like "Alex sexin' songs?" I like to go for the middle ground and think it might just be called "Alex" leaving Alex to speculate/hope as to the intended purpose of the mix and how it relates to her.

As to what Tony actually listens to, heaven only knows. Often I think moody kind of emo music but then sometime I picture him having hidden pop music proclivities. Like maybe he secretly dances around his apartment to Gaga or Kylie or Girls Aloud or something. (Hey, I let you get away with "puss puss." Let me just remind you of that before you mock me.)

I'm quite pleased to have brought out the font geek that was obviously lurking just beneath the surface. Fonts are good clean fun, Amelia. Embrace the fonts!

I do dig the Dirty English and I have Got Heroin or at least a ransom note font that's quite similar. All delightful choices as far as I'm concerned! And I hope you do spend your weekend squeefully traversing through dafont.com and downloading more fonts than you will ever possibly use in a lifetime. Like I said, good clean fun. "At least you're not out whoring at the taverns," as my Grandma likes to say!

There may have been some spazzy dancing around the apartment. I won't admit the extent of it.
