So yes, basically yet again in agreement with naamah-darling in regards to the whole contraception = abortion stupidity. She tends to sum things up nicely when she's pissed about important WTF issues. And as with last time I linked to a post like this... so not work safe due to very colorful and apt language. Lots of interesting stuff in the comments too.

I couldn't believe the contraception story when I first heard about it. Just...wow. I mean, there's a reason I won't vote for politicians who are pro-life and anti-funding for sex education, but I guess that's irrelevant now!

Yeah, I'm pretty cynical about politics in general because of this kind of crap and crap like it. I'm pretty shocked by this whole thing, but I feel like I should be a lot more shocked by it. :/

Your cynicism is understandable. I got my enthusiasm for Obama back there for a while, but I've lost it again. Leaning to the (current) Right's positions on social issues is the kind of party-line crossing that I am not in favor of. :(

I'm still voting for Obama over McCain, but yeah. It always just comes down to the lesser evil, cause in the end they're all still politicians. :/
