If the oil companies get taxed instead of the people who by the gasoline (as Clinton proposes), couldn't they just raise the price of gasoline to make up for lost profit from the increased taxes?  Politics is upsetting.

The Democratic race for president seemed so peaceful (with the exception of references to Xeroxing) at the debate last Tuesday Thursday, then, apparently, all restraint left the Clinton campaign.
