Mohinder had been watching him sleep. It wasn't not meant to be as creepy as it sounded. After he and Elle had argued in the corridor and she went off to play doubting daughter, the medical training in the doctor peeked out and demanded he go to monitor Peter's vitals.

They had given him so much, so very much, of a substance he had not tested and one that had never been administered so quickly and regularly to a person before.

"You ought to lay still or you'll dislodge the IV," he said, trying to be helpful. Honestly.

Mohinder was lucky Peter hadn't ripped the IV out to begin with. He grunted softly in response, his eyes hardening. Conflicting emotions were bouncing around inside his chest. Peter
wanted to learn more about himself, but not from these people.

"I am truly sorry about what I did," Mohinder said, moving into the center of the room, white labcoat and clipboard making his voice rather fitting. Mad, British, scientist. "There was no other. I will arrange a call for you to Ireland to speak with your girlfriend when Elle's out next."

Peter looked up at him where his face was resting on his arm, eyes tired. "Don't worry about. Its better if she thinks I'm gone." He was a burden to her, anyways.
