OH. I think all I write are AUs, basically. Nick/Older man AUs. Heh.

Hm, I guess it would depend how much a reader is strict about canon. Because even in the Nestor Bodyguard au, I think Nick is like 14-15 (FOURTEEN), and we all know he never had a bodyguard who wanted to bone him, in RL. HOPEFULLY. POSSIBLY? At least not one that looked like Nestor.

Anyway, I always refer to my fic as au because in SPN fandom, some girl once told me I only wrote AUs because my fic didn't follow EXACT episodic information-placement-timeline stuff. So if people are THAT picky about it, than I write aus. Even if they're not like MEDIEVAL TIMES aus.

Did you ever read rudhampaiel's college!AU - He found a tidal wave (swam on to better days)? It's pretty much like that, except with some incest angst and a whole bunch of actual school angst.

AHAHAHA I love the Wedding Planner one! On the jb_bigbang prompt post I had prompted a Hitch!AU wherein Nick enlists Joe to help him woo some girl, make him smooth with the ladies and what have you, but then it backfires and Joe ends up falling for Nick. It's similar, and I want BOTH OF THEM.

I'm currently plotting out a Closer AU with Demi/Joe/Nick/DHen where everyone is angsty and sleeping with everyone else and generally being ridiculous. Will be a bit of a beast but I think it could be fun (in a gutwrenching sense) to write.

That's the problem I have. I like them to be brothers. Though I've still read and enjoyed fics where they're not related. I mean, I personally don't write AUs because the premise of my fic doesn't get much more complicated than "lol boners!", but yeah. Brothers.

Also, highschool AUs! The geek/hipster trope will never get old! Are there any highschool AUs aside from Boy Cheerleader and Easy Academy? IF NOT, WHY NOT.
