Today was happier. Following my writing schedule, I worked for an hour on my book proposal (I have an initial meeting with a publisher in a couple weeks). I got sentimental and teary while working on it, as I've wanted to write and publish a book since childhood

Congrats on the publisher meeting. That is an accomplishment!

Every app feels good at least when I apply to jobs even if each one takes a long time to craft. I haven't sent out apps in weeks since I had a good interview last week, but now I'm waiting and waiting to hear and I'm starting to get itchy. I don't want to send any more apps, darn it, if a job ever pops up again.
