I am so sad that you didn't thoroughly enjoy Unforgiven. Perhaps I'm a bit biased since it was filmed in these here parts, but I find it to be just a tremendously well-put together movie. For one, it's gorgeous (biased or not) and I just thought it was an excellent character study about how a man can never truly escape what he once was.

As for SSMB, I've toned down my playing of it lately, and I still go with my ol' Sheik standby for the most part, as well as Pikachu or Ganondorf. The best new characters for me are Pit and Meta Knight. I usually get too frustrated at playing games on the Intense level, so I don't give those too many tries, though I may end having to if I want to unlock EVERYTHING.

Hahaha, I'm sorry about Unforgiven. I feel bad I didn't enjoy it, too! Especially as everyone loves it. Perhaps I just need to give it another watch. I do agree that the movie is gorgeous. I do love how realistic the settings and costumes are (I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff). However, the problem for me is just the archetypes and different devices/elements that are so typical of Westerns. I have a hard time with Westerns in general...I have yet to put my finger on why. Any Western recommendations besides "Unforgiven" that might change my mind? I really do hate being so biased against a category ( ... )

My SSMB ID is 1032-0903-2591, my Wii code is 1819 1435 1169 4938 in case you need to register me first.

As for other Westerns, well Silverado for one. Just an amazing movie that. Click on the westerns keyword at Top Five for more reviews, there are a lot of good ones. The Assassination of Jesse James was also quite great... also filmed 'round these parts. :D

Oooh, really? What is different about Spaghetti Westerns from regular Westerns? In spite of my dislike of Clint's performance in "Unforgiven", I might give those Spaghetti westerns a look.:)

Yeah, haha, I am so excited. I love RD J.R, but it's been forever since he's been in a movie (the last movie I saw him in was in "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", which I really enjoyed). I know he was in one other recent movie, Charlie Bartlett, but that just looked like such a rip off of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", I didn't even bother.;)
