"Unforgiven", "Super Smash Bros., and Spring Break!

So after a rather long hiatus from LJ (well, a long hiatus for me, anyway-which is basically like a week) I am back from my Spring Break.
Of course, all during Spring Break, I played Super Smash Bros. I'm not quite confident to play anyone yet, but I'm working on getting there. I just beat extra hard mode with Kirby today. Oh, and I unlocked Lucario, whose fighting moves remind me of Samus in a way-except for the fact that Lucario is  ridiculously silly looking.

In addition to SSMB, I watched quite a few movies. I introduced my mom to "There Will be Blood' and she refused to watch the last thirty minutes of it because she knew the ending. I got her to go back and see more of it though, when I introduced her to the magic of the fast forward button. Overall, she liked it! I was surprised, because she usually hates violence.

Another movie I saw was "Unforgiven." I guess  I will never be a big fan of westerns. I thought the dialog was pretty bad, to the point of being funny at times . I also wasn't a fan of Clint Eastwood's performance. He just uttered lines out of  the side of his mouth and showed very little emotion. His character, the bad guy who finds redemption in a woman and becomes a hero, is also not the most original (though I did enjoy the very end, where he shows hints of how violent and cold-hearted he was in the past). I did love the story, though. The ending, however, seemed way to happy for everything else that had taken place. They might as well have shown Clint Eastwood riding off into the sunset. In fact, I think he did.

*sigh*. Ah well, so much for Westerns.;)

Anyway, has anyone else seen "Unforgiven"? Feel free to take me to task for disliking the movie so.:) Anyone else still playing SSMB? What are your favorite characters to use on SSMB?

Now, I've got to go back to anxiously anticipating "Iron Man" (Robert Downey Jr.? I am definitely there!) and reading my newest issue of Game Informer (they are making a Guitar Hero game based on the band Aerosmith...um, exciting?)

"iron man", super smash bros., "unforgiven"
