[The video shows Meryl in profile as he is working on....something. Whatever it is, it's glowing gently in his hands, with white-blue light; after the light fades it's revealed to be a small hand-mirror. Not the future as much as things that are happening very far away. Or, occasionally, things in the past - but that requires a more magically inclined sanctum. Divination into the future does as well. Still, it's useful for checking up on people...finding lost children....

The mirror is functional. [I have no idea who he was spying on, but assume he was 8| ] In order to find the scientists, I'll need to know what they look like.
