I didn't like V For Vendetta much but, having never read the Moore comic, I could kinda tell that it was a vastly compressed version of a much denser story that probably made its points in a much more compelling way. It bored me but made me wanna read the comic, even if I still haven't.
I could not recommend V for Vedetta the comic more. It was never so much that the storyline would be compressed, but to absolutely change the core basis of the storyline iteself is unforgiveable.
I really loved the Justice League cartoon up until the end. The cult of the Center was just rad as was all the 50s stylization. But the ending kinda devolved for me. All the style and awsomeness stopped when they were fighting a giant island for 20 minutes.
I loved Hellboy (love the comix, too). The next movie looks totally epic, though, and for some reason I can't decide if I'm into that or not. I mean, I should be, right?
