It is time to admit I have moved past sleepong poorly and into insomnia. If a week of waking up at 2 AM and being unable to get back to sleep doesn't count, I'm not sure what does. I am bright eyed and bushy-tailed while it is dark, dark, dark outside. In fact, I was wide awake well before the alarm. This light thing is magic.

Yesterday we had practice and team lunch in lieu of the the forfeited game. It actually a very good practice, probably the best this season. I am convinced that if the Dems win the election that Obama's second priority, right after election security and financing, is to completely restructure our food safety net, including the FDA, USDA, and OSHA. A very interesting (long) article on milk.I had raw milk once. It was in the Bavarian Alps. I got most of the way through a 32 oz cup, but in the end I couldn't take it all. Holy crap, I figured out what those itchy blisters on my feet are. Ewwww. I guess I need to start putting triamcinolone on my feet now too. Dammit, skin.
