Have you ever read Where the Wild Things Are?

I don't know if can think of much that you haven't read. You're the one who lends me most of the books I read anyway.

Ah, let's see. I'm not an expert or anything, but I've checked out a few things when I was in the library with you. I read Flowers for Algernon a long time ago and it somehow sticks with me. Bridge of Sighs is a little typical but I still liked it a lot. Ah, you've probably read Empire Falls by the same author. On Chesil Beach would probably be a little too romantic for you, but it's a good read.

And.... I think that you would really benefit from reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

....Are you alright?

I'm fine.

I read Flowers for Algernon in middle school, I think, I remember it was pretty touching but a lot of the kids didn't like it. I'm not surprised you did, though.

Heh, you don't think I'd like a romantic book?

Ah....

It was a little juvenile, but I still remember it well.

Oh, it's not that! You probably wouldn't want to admit you were reading it to other people though.

Like I said, it's a touching story.

I think I'll read the romantic one. I could use a little bit of a break lately...

poor touya ;o; and I am not as well-read as Clow would be BUT I'M TRYING TO FIX THAT i_themagician November 21 2008, 04:21:58 UTC
I'll laugh if you end up not remembering your time here when you go back home so that you have to read all those textbooks all over again.

Mm. The shadows in the City weren't really like those ones, then.

That was my point!

Yeah. Those authors had the completely wrong idea. Everyone else always uses shadows as a sign of something creepy coming along!

Yeah. And the City seems to think your shadow's your worst critic.
