So, I just recently ordered a box set of all 5 seasons of Angel (TV's Angel). I got it because it was on sale for $50 and I am a huge fucking nerd and I really wanted to check out all the special features and commentaries. And never mind how I watched the show before I purchased these shiny, legal DVDs, just go about your business. It was good

Yes, Sarah came in for a lot of criticism from fans over the years for being less than willing to give up her evenings and weekends and holidays to record cast commentaries and so forth, when she was already working about twice as many hours as the rest of the cast due to the number of lines and scenes Buffy had compared to the other characters. :-p

Seven seasons of features, and not even a five-minute interview with the star. It was disappointing is all.

Hey, I came across your lj two days ago, I love the Lost vids!
I'm a buffy fan too! And I would have killed to have more Sarah on behind-the-scene stuffs...

Though I think the comparison to David isn't perfect, the screen-time and number of lines for the two characters is if i remember correctly slightly different. For one the screentime on Angel is a little more balanced between the cast, and the character of Buffy is way more talkative than Angel...

Lately something else struck me, I came across this vid on youtube, and...where does it come from? Is it an on-set interview? Why isn't it on dvds or something?
And it's actually a good little piece of answer from Sarah!!

Nice vid. Obviously there are a bunch of incompetents in charge of making the DVDs if clips like this exist and yet were not used.

There are several interviews from talk shows and the like that I found on youtube (shortly after posting this).

And she did do the Paley fest reunion not too long ago. Hopefully that will find its way onto a future box set.
