Gah! Another hurricane is heading toward the Texas coast. The last one I went through was in 2005 when Hurricane Rita struck. We were lucky then as we ended up on the clean side of the storm, but that doesn't look like it's the case for this storm. Thank you! We made it through okay -- two of our trees were downed and we lost shingles on our roof. We got our electricity back on Monday, but don't have internet. My work was hit pretty hard though, and I have no internet there as well. I had to go to the library near my house, one of the few in the county that has power let alone internet access. I probably can't update in a while, not that I updated too much before, but wanted to let you know I'm okay.
