It was foggy this morning and, while not warm by any means, at least warmer than the last two days. Above freezing.

But in synch with our culture; I forget who it was that pronounced that no one puts gloves in their glove compartment any more (some TV personality, I think, or newsperson) and I noted that I must be an exception to that rule.

I simply have so much stuff in the glove compartment that there's no room for gloves. If I could even find mine :)

Agreed. My gloves won't fit there. Plus I am loathe to wear gloves that have been in the car while it sat for a while not running, as they are invariably cold, so I bring mine inside....

...where they sit, safe and untouched by the weather. Sigh.

Ah, semantic drift. Erik Tandberg of the Norwegian Space Center on mystery lights that turned out to be a failed Russian missile test:
"I think it was clear to most people that it was not a UFO, as most people define a UFO. Of course everything is a UFO until you know what it is. But most people think about UFOs as aliens and things like that, that was something that came up very early but not later," Tandberg said.

No, the door pockets are for maps. The Thomas Guide won't fit in most glove compartments. :)

I was getting myself some ice for the tea pot mom asked me to make one summer. Next thing I know, 3 of my digits on my right hand went numb as I freezer-burned my paw.
