Going to Reno Worldcon
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will most likely be attending this year's World Science Fiction Convention in Reno, Nevada (17-21 Aug 2011). Internet connection problem
my internet connection has become flaky. Since about a day ago, while some sites load OK, the rest load slowly to never. AT&T is baffled. Speedtest.net usually doesn't load, and when it does it fails to test speed and says there is an error reading latency. Speakeasy.net seems to always load immediately, and says my speed is good. Well, it looks like I'm going this weekend; wasn't sure until today. I don't have my jetpack done, or various other items I've been working on, but this looks like it could become an annual event. Westercon
It looks like, despite probabilities, I will be attending Westercon (July 3-6, in Las Vegas). I'll be traveling with Linda VonBraskat (a.k.a.
