I especially like the context surrounding Jack's thought of what it'd be like to marry Liz. Very sweet scene.

Thanks! The next part should be tomorrow. I sat on this part for quite a while to decide whether to go angsty in part 2 or not.

Aw, so beautifully written. One of the reasons I ship Jack/Liz so hard is because I think if they ever do get together, their relationship would be effortless and they would compliment each other perfectly. Can't wait for the next part! :)

I wonder if it would be. They'd certainly have to let go of a lot of their preconceptions of what relationships are. That said, I think that Jack's more in a place to do that than he ever has been before.
