It is, unfortunately, the greatest problem I currently face with writing. I'm glad you liked my phrasing. I felt particularly cheeky when I wrote that. :D

It is a constant practice to remind myself to do it, but usually I am gushing anyways, so I figure I can bang out a few words in that vein.

God, that really is such a help, isn't it? When you can write a scene and it's already cool without backstory cause everyone who reads it knows the backstory that makes it cool ALREADY?

Unfortunately, it's kind of screwing me for other writing. :S Sigh. Oh the trials and tribulations of a fanfic writer.
