It's very corny writing, like pretty much all of Kerrang's stuff, but I like it. I'm more excited to read next week's issue, this seems like a rehashing of information we knew when they first started promoting the first fourth album.

I like the quote about Mikey seeing Frank play and pretty much all of Ray's quotes (very much the voice of reason). But it's interesting to think what would have happened if they really had tried to promote something they didn't really love. I like that they're honest about it now but I'm curious what would have happened. Looking forward to next week's interview.

Gerard saying to Ray "if we never do this again, thank you"? Just. My heart. Their friendships just make me so so happy.

And of COURSE Gerard had a 'vision' in the desert. Of course he would do that. I also love Frank's cheese grater comment. That is such a punk rock way of explaining things.

They're just so HAPPY and they look so PRETTY and Gerard is STILL WEARING THE GODDAMN LEATHER PANTS. They have melded with his legs by this stage I'm certain...

Also: DEAD PEGASUS and Frank is a bumblebee! *_____________*

Mikey seeing Frank play, and possibly being the one who got them back on track because of it is such a great image!

I think the thing I love most about their current interviews is their willingness to say "you know, we thought we wanted to make a different kind of music, but we were wrong, this is who we are." And the fact that they were willing to do the hard thing - scrap a whole lot of work, risk the backlash that they got this year - to sit down and make something that obviously makes them all this happy. I admire the hell out of them for it.

Agreed. And even the fact that they mention that everyone else loved it - they COULD have released it, but in the end, they didn't want to, and decided something else. That's tough.

Just realizing this interview is truly with all four guys...they're all talking! It's great to hear from all of them, I hope this is a trend. :)

Also amused by how Gerard always finds a phrase and falls in love with it. I'm willing to bet we're going to come across "nail-bomb" a few more times...*heh*

I'm kind of ridiculously distracted by the fact that Gerard and Frank are wearing the same beads. Mikey has them too in the trailer but you can't see them here, does Ray have them? Adorable.

Also good interview, nice to hear from all of them and see their AMAZINGLY PRETTY FACES GOD DIAL IT DOWN A NOTCH.
