Man, I cannot get enough of these two songs! I have to admit to favoring Tomorrow's Money slightly over Boy Division, but that's just me. I think it's the lines

I totally hope they incorporate the CW catalog of songs into their touring - but I'd also like to see the MGMK stuff played live, too. *hopes*

Someone on Twitter said that BD had more of a metal feel (Ray's influence), while TM has a clear punk vibe (Frank's influence), but I'm not sure I agree with that, having listened to both songs for...a while now. Both songs have an element of both genres, but it's all been blended together into a funky, punky, hard 'n' fast mashup...

I TOTALLY feel you on them being a little reminiscent of "My Way Home is Through You," I got that too. Especially with Gerard's really aggressive vocals.

I love these songs so much! Boy Division hit me with that instant love at first sight take me home right now feel right from the start. I love the power behind the music and the vocals and the lyrics are just amazing. Tomorrow's Money, I liked at first, but it took a while for the love to grow, but it's such an insanely good song. I love the bass riff and the melody and the lyrics so much.

I'm so excited for the rest of the songs! And yes, I would LOVE to see them live at some point too!

The bassline from TM is awesome, I totally agree. And both songs have just the most awesome lyrics. Yes. Live, pretty please.

I can't wait for the rest of the songs. I remember thinking, when I first heard about CW, that I probably wasn't going to like the abandoned material as much as I like the rest of MCR's work, but WRONGO!

I was a little worried I wouldn't like them either.. which is SILLY because I have loved EVERYTHING they've ever released so far! But I guess the way they talked about those sessions for the past 2 years affected how we thought about them too! Now I understand why Frank loves these songs so much! They're really fucking awesome so far!

Yeah, I think I was pretty influenced by the things the band had said about the CW sessions - thinking back, they never said the songs were bad or flawed, just maybe a little forced when they were hoping for something more organic.

One of the things I like is that with Boy Division, We Don't Need Another Song About California suddenly makes so much more sense. *g* And hmmm, the DD B-sides seem to have a lot more in common with the CW sessions than the DD stuff...maybe the line between CW and DD isn't so sharply drawn as I'd thought...

Out of these two songs I'd have to say Boy Division is my favorite, mostly because it gets stuck in my head a lot (and because it relates in such an interesting way to We Don't Need Another Song About California, which I love deeply). Tomorrow's Money has really awesome lyrics though. And they both make me so excited for the rest of the songs. BAND! It's so exciting we're getting these now!

I know when I first listened to BD I was like, "Oh, that's why we don't need another song about California. *g*

I love them so much! I think I'm a little more partial to Boy Division though. Possible because for some reason it reminds me of some of the songs on Revenge (which will probably forever and always be my favorite CD). I'm not sure how exactly it reminds me of it, but it does. Possibly because it sounds a little anthem-y and I am a sucker for that. I'm sure I'll have something different to say about them after I listen to them in the car tomorrow. Things always sound even better when you blast it and drive really fast!

I'm totally a sucker for anthems, too. The build, the bridge... so fantastic. (And I was driving to them today and it was PRETTY GREAT, ngl.)
