There was a part of me that was afraid that I wouldn't like this! It feels like eons since Danger Days, and yet I just sat here with the biggest grin on my face while listening to these new songs. And it hit me. That's what this band does! It's a part of you that you forget is there until you hear their music again.

Love it.

I'm constantly thinking to myself that I can't love the band more, and they do something like release this music, and they managed to squeeze more love out of my heart...I don't get it.

I freaking LOVE these songs so much. They don't really sound too much like anything they've done before, just like all of their albums sound different. It's aggressive but it's not the same kind of aggression as Revenge, but for some reason to me it feels like it could be a segway between Bullets and Revenge even though it has nothing at all to do with either. I love that it doesn't sound as polished as Days and it a lot more stripped down to just this heavy strictly rock sound. The band and Gerard sound amazing and there's nothing over powering the dynamics and the sound of the band. Even with the filtering on Gerard's vocals in Tomorrow's Money his voice still sounds full and powerful. His delivery is really packing a punch. There's a certain authenticity to Gerard's voice I feel was lacking with Danger Days. There's this grainy undertone to his vocals and with how hard he's hitting the accents and stops you can tell he was really really feeling it and it gives the songs that much more of a punch ( ... )

I cried. I couldn't stop grinning, but I totally cried. If I'd tried to type this while I was listening, or even a mere 20 minutes ago, I would have been completely incapable of forming actual words. I still probably wouldn't be able to carry on a conversation about anything other than this glorious event.
BAAAAND!
BOB!!! (SO MANY BOB FEELS. When I saw my vinyl and his name on it... ._. I miss him.)
Gerard's SNARL, GOOD LORD!
FUCK YEAH GANG VOCALS. (Or, maybe just Gerard multiplied, but whatever. Close enough.)
Anyone else giddy at the thought of singing along with "We got the bomb, we got the bomb. LET'S GO!" live? I'm not sure how likely it is they'll PLAY any of these songs, but oh my God, that part in particular would be so awesome...
I love both of the songs so much and I'm just obscenely overjoyed to have new/old MCR in my life.
SO MANY FEELS AHHHH.

That part just played on my speakers and I totally grinned at the thought, because yeah, that would be fucking rad at a concert...

I waited for my download from Warner Bros (which decided to show up after I went to bed and was too tired to crawl back onto my laptop), so I only just listened to the full tracks for the first time.

I think I'm in the minority, but I'm in love with Tomorrow's Money more than I am Boy Division.

Does anyone with the physical packaging know how (or if) Bob is credited on these songs?

The same way he was on Danger Days. The writing credit is Way/Toro/Iero/Way/Bryar and his separate music publishing co, Blow The Doors Off Chicago Music is listed after Blow The Doors Off The Jersey Shore, which is MCR's music publishing co (or was, it was Better Living on DD).
