We've still got a little bit left to go in our concert break. I thought it would be fun to have a little MCR party to pass the time ( Read more... )

Yeah, Frank. Definitively my favorite picture of him from the last few months. I love the colors. His motherfucking arm.

This man, being totally at the mercy of their music, giving it his all, giving himself up to it. *___*

I so hear you on the iTunes festival. I won't be able to go to a concert any time soon so I treasure the live streams and that one? Definitively a night to remember. I just got so caught up in the affection they have for each other.

I'm hoping that with the size of the stages of the HCT and Blink's talk of having the worlds largest touring lazer, that means there will at least be some awesome production for MCR's sets. It would obviously put a damper on varying the set list from night to night, but at least it would be fun to watch. Andhelpmebetteraccepthoseticketprices.

I'm trying to temper my expectations for something different for the HCT BUT it's such a bigger stage and such a different tour that I couldn't imagine them not changing anything on stage at all. And with such a long break in between, I feel like there's ample time for them to work out the logistics.

Plus, I think everyone is thinking of these shows as the preview to Reading and Leeds, whether that's valid or not, IDK. Either way, I expect a great show.

Yeah, I expect the first few shows to be sort of iffy as they get their legs about the layout and work out kinks, but I expect that once they get into the tour, things should pick up and hopefully they have a really exciting and fun stage show.

I hope they don't disappoint.

I loved the screens on the iTunes show and although I think they were just at that venue, I'd love to see something like that employed. I thought that added a lot.

I like this picture a lot, because hello, Mikey's ridiculous snake-skin boots dfghjk. Gerard's hair also looks awesome here.

This picture always reminds me of the quote that was something like Ray was dropped in from different band entirely because of how the other's dressed. It's not so much that nowadays but this picture illustrates how it used to be SO. WELL.

Also Mikey's boots are so distracting.

I was just thinking that about Ray! And I am amused to see that the red on Bob's shirt mathes the red of Gee's hair and the yellow on Frank's shoes matches Ray's shirt (even if nothing else does.)

Right? I was always surprised Ray went along with uniforms and costumes, because you know he was all ": | really?" about it.

Mikeyway is the most ridiculous human being.

I love his legs most of all in that picture but definitely all the rest of what you said as well \o/

VERY EXCITED TO SEE THE THRILLING CONFUSION. And what they're going to do about Frank and Gerard's hair.

This is my Jesus Christ, Gerard Way-picture. How can one guy be this hot and still be that much of a nerd? The same goes for the others; to me they get even more attractive the older they get and yet all of them have characteristics that make me want to simply sit down with them and just talk about a lot of shit. Might be the dissonance I grew up with where being into the interesting stuff meant you could never be considered attractive. Whatever. MCR sure taught the world better.

I'm sooooo curious about the video and the hair thing, it can't be healthy... Especially since I know how I would continue the killjoy's universe. Anyway, I trust them to not fuck it up.

Also, it makes me ridiculous happy to think about our guys, Grant and their crew having a really good time making this video for us!!!!

I just realized I wrote "confusion" instead of "conclusion" but I feel like it probably works either way.

My favorite show is the only one of theirs that I've been to, and it was May 21st at the House Of Blues and Dallas and it was the best night of my life, no contest. Not even because of the awe of seeing the band I've loved forever, but the sheer amount of pure fun I had. It was an amzing experience, a little bit cathartic but the best part about it was forgetting everything and living in that moment. That moment where Gerard's on stage and you're helping him sing Happy Birthday to his wife. That moment that you're screaming out every line because you know them, because this is the music you blared when you didn't want to hear the outside world, but it was absolutely nothing like it is now. The jumping and the yelling and the singing and how it's everything you ever imagined but so much more.

I'm seeing them again at Voodoo Fest in October. And cannot wait.

I have such a jealousy of you going to Voodoo. That's going to be a fantastic experience.
