Re-posting part of a post I put up on my journal a few days ago:



My current desktop background. Or, well, over the last few months. I never get enough of staring at it, uh, him. Shut up. There's just something about the colors, their vibrancy and the way they bathe him in shadows, in secrecy. The angles and curves of his body, the tilt of his head. His hands, the glint of light reflecting back from his wedding ring.

-- To me it just says, Gee On Stage.

I love watching them perform. I love how different the live versions are from the records. I love how pictures show me moments in time, highlighting a second and bringing it into such a sharp focus that I keep staring at it for days.

I love the way they are performers and yet normal guys.

I love how I can get all giddy and happy because I know Gerard, Mikey and their wives are at SDCC, having a good time, long before I see the first picture. (I love how I can be happy that they get to be home with their families even though it means I don't get to watch them everyday.)

I love how they make me even more passionate about music- It has has such a large impact on my everyday life and mental well-being despite me not really being a musician.

I love Ray's smile. I love Mikeyway's hair. I love Frank making, uh, love to his mic. I love Gerard switching gears and not being ashamed of the performer he is. I love watching the crowd going nuts for them.

I love those guys. I love listening to them, I love them for the impact they have on my life, I love them for being themselves.

This is my Jesus Christ, Gerard Way-picture. How can one guy be this hot and still be that much of a nerd? The same goes for the others; to me they get even more attractive the older they get and yet all of them have characteristics that make me want to simply sit down with them and just talk about a lot of shit. Might be the dissonance I grew up with where being into the interesting stuff meant you could never be considered attractive. Whatever. MCR sure taught the world better.

I'm sooooo curious about the video and the hair thing, it can't be healthy... Especially since I know how I would continue the killjoy's universe. Anyway, I trust them to not fuck it up.

Also, it makes me ridiculous happy to think about our guys, Grant and their crew having a really good time making this video for us!!!!

If I have Firefox open I can't see it? But honestly, it's kind of my reward for finishing stuff. Also, it's really nice since that picture is the last thing I stare at before shutting down the laptop and going to bed...
