Gerard Way tells MTV News Danger Days story should have 'a gap.'When we last left the Killjoys, they were dead - gunned down at the conclusion of My Chemical Romance's video for "Sing." That clip was a continuation of the DayGlo outlaws' assault on the nefarious Better Living Industries, a campaign first launched in the "Na Na Na" video and one ( Read more... )

Can he not say, hey we're on tour, we don't have time. Instead of all this rubbish about it not being the right time, and the previous videos being metaphors. He said before the previous killjoy videos were made up as they went along.
Maybe I just don't understand the artistic process lol.

Yeah, it didn't make much sense to me either! Metaphors are well thought, with time...:P

I don't know, it's Gerard, he changes his m,ind all the time so who knows what the video will end up being?

So they don't know if they are going to make the video because they don't want to do what fans are craving for???

Haha no dude, they just made two videos that were basically about them looking cool in their costumes and then the fans got overinvested in "the story", and now its just too much pressure to come up with a valid ending... I dunno, I think they can just keep making videos that end with them dying, one for each song.. maybe finish the "story" with the video with a guided tour of the cemetery for Kids From Yesterday ;)

LOL! and all the kids from yesterday will rise from their graves at the end. this will be the start of the zombie apocalypse where the zombies will destroy all vampires and BLi employees thus taking over the world.

They definitely had ~plans, though. Involving white hair and katana.

I'm 99% sure it was the vid after SING that they meant. I'd go find the interview to make sure, but don't have the energy.

Katana = During the making of SING clip they put out, Gerard was holding the Japanese lady's sword and saying "We get to use this next time."

I don't think BPH goes much with the Killjoy video-verse anyway, so. ^^ I'm cool with that.

'SAVE YOURSELF' WOULD BE PERFECT, JUST SAYIN.

O_o (about BPH not going with the verse...I feel the complete opposite!)

Save Yourself would be good...the problem is apparently, Gerard wants The Only Hope. *rolls eyes*

I feel like Na Na worked because it was manic, Sing because it was slow and could be used for something rebellious and dramatic. BPH is like... too happy-sounding? IDK.

Save Yourself would be awesome. I'd accept Party Poison, too. The Only Hope can GTFO.

Vampire Money is ridic amazing, but it doesn't go with anything. XD Maybe that could be their gap vid?

It's the lyrics of BPH that I think fit the Killjoy universe so well.
(sorry for jumping in)

But but...Bulletproof Heart fits the killjoys theme too well to go wasted! :/ Even if not following the story...it could still be inside the same 'world'? It could be a prequel as some people suggested! Or even more random killjoy action, I don't know. I just can't imagine that song not being related to the killjoys. Gerard has even said it was the song that started the...theme.

Bulletproof is so much more fitting than The Only Hope (which Gerard mentioned as what could be the third part of the story) in my opinion. It oozes killjoyness!
