It's hard to admit that you're going to die, and then to deal with all the needed paperwork ahead. I don't have survivors other than the cats and I've made arrangements for whichever cats I own when I die, in my will.

I love the owl in your icon. Is that a pin? It looks handmade.

It's an actual ancient Greek Athenian coin, or possibly a reproduction of one. Athena's bird was the owl. Her gift to mankind was the olive tree; you can see the leaves and fruit at the upper left.

IIRC, she and Poseiden were competing for the best, most useful gift, possibly to become the guardian deity of the city, and he created the horse, but the other gods favoured her olive tree, so she became the tutelary deity and the city was called Athens.

Athena/Minerva is high on my list of patrons.
