COSMOS returns to the screen - updated, and with Neil deGrasse Tyson!

You might already knew about this, but Neil deGrasse Tyson is reprising Carl Sagan's most-awesome-ever program, Cosmos! It'll show on both the FOX network and National Geographic TV starting next spring.

I have the record album (yes, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm) of music from Cosmos. I look forward to equally inspirational music in the new series. Oh, yeah, plus that new inspirational host guy that I've heard about somewhere... :)

Oh my gosh, I had that vinyl, too! Also a set of thin, floppy National Geographic astronomy albums as part of another book: early multimedia!

I know it's kinda heresy to say, but it's entirely possible this new guy could be even more awesome in his own way.
