"I would've had to wear contacts today if you didn't have these, and I hate wearing contacts, Puckerman," she said, as she put her glasses on.
Being able to see made the morning only slightly better, being as it was Monday, after all.
"Breakfast?" Lauren asked, holding the door open wider.
Might as well try to be nice, now that she could finally see again.

Breakfast didn't sound bad at all, and since she was offering, why not? "Sure," he said, walking into the house. He wasn't exactly sure what this was going to be like. He'd never met Lauren's family, and he wasn't sure if he'd run into her parents.
And, well... honestly? No parent ever wanted to see Noah Puckerman in his or her living room... or... kitchen, as the case may be.

She noticed Puck's eyes get wider as he surveyed the sheer amount of food on the kitchen table, served buffet style. The Zizes' didn't do anything half-assed, breakfast especially.
"Dig in," Lauren said, adding a banana, sausage, 2 waffles and hash browns onto her plate. "Dad, Jon, I'd introduce you, but I don't think Puck needs any introduction."
"Ah, Noah Puckerman," Lauren's dad replied, looking at him over the top of the newspaper he was reading, "welcome to the Zizes Breakfast Buffet. Help yourself."
Lauren's younger brother, on the other hand, barely even acknowledged Puck's presence at the table, instead focusing on his cell phone.
Lauren shrugged as she bit into a piece of sausage. "The Family Zizes."

Still, the food smells awesome, and he grabs a plate and loads up. Everything looks awesome, and Puck even sneaks a little sausage. He's pretty sure JewGod will be okay with it, since he only recently started going more kosher with things.
Dark eyes turn to Lauren, hoping she'll suggest something like going to another room so he doesn't have to be all up in the family dining experience. It's just awkward.
